Halle Geological Services Ltd. provides short and long-term field support to clients in the mining and exploration industry throughout Canada. The founders, Jesse Halle and Emily Halle, have over 15 years of field experience in various settings including porphyry copper (+/- gold, molybdenum, rhenium); volcanogenic massive sulphide (gold-silver-lead-zinc +/- copper); platinum-group elements; uranium; epithermal, supergene and lode gold deposits; across Canada, Alaska, and Southern Africa. Since incorporating in 2008, Halle Geological Services (HGS) has primarily concentrated on copper and gold exploration in the Coast and Columbia Mountain Ranges of British Columbia and the Yukon. The company’s goal is to find, improve, and/or advance projects in mining and exploration through a broad foundation of education and experience, increased presence and productivity on-site, as well as detailed documented procedures and training guides.
Typical responsibilities include project management, diamond and reverse-circulation drill management, core logging and documentation, historical re-logging, geology log translation, lithology streamlining, geological model development, QA/QC, rock quality data and analysis, acid-based accounting preparation, technical report writing (NI 43-101 compliant), research, petrography, GIS and database operation, geological cross-sections, mapping, prospecting, soil-sampling, claim-staking, expediting, camp maintenance, community and corporate relations, office management, and workforce morale.
